Had the pleasure of photographing Bay-Area MC “Nocando” for the January Issue of LA Record. Very cool dude. If you haven’t had a chance, this guy is at The Airliner in Lincoln Heights every Wed night,  at Low End Theory and he destroys it. But I had a great time and got some amazing shots. Wow really I gotta wake up at 6 o’clock, Dude, I just went to bed at like 4a.m.  I good, I’m at Sundance right. Anyways, once again it looks like the opening scene from “Gangs Of New York” outside think Art Direction…..or better yet, more Winter Olympics. The differences in being press photographer or a commercial photographer is alot like being a stand up comedian in alotta ways…..You can always go out and do the movies, and make a few bucks, pay the bills. But in the end, being on that stage alone, no crew to help, no actor(s) to play off of, that’s what separates the pack. Keeps you one your toes……

2009 IS DONE SON!!!
2009 is done, the decade is done. My 20’s done. Just like that, over……Man, I felt like I just got on the bus. Now where here. I feel like in the last ten years I’ve learned and felt so much and now here I am just now finding time to still back a reflect or at least acknowledge it. The last couple months have been a bit of a worldwind, but a blessing none the less....
